VINTAGE

La Niña shaped the 2022 season. A warm spring brought even budburst, followed by cool, damp flowering that naturally reduced crop weight and berry size. Mild summer temperatures retained acidity, while a dry, settled autumn allowed the fruit to reach full maturity.

VINEYARD

Single-vineyard fruit from the Clos Ostler monopole in the Waitaki Valley. The dry-grown vines occupy a north-facing limestone escarpment at approximately 208–230 metres. EOS is selected principally from Dijon clones 667 and 777.
